Languish in the rock splash-pool surrounded by the heavenly smell of the Capes most aromatic fynbos, enjoy a hot and cold outside shower, pass the time on the deck admiring the unobstructed 360 degree views up and down the coastline and mountainside. Meander down to the local beach or the more energetic can explore the many free hiking trails and walks Baskloof offers. Or simply enjoy the peace and just settle down to the delicious sounds of the waves breaking below and luxuriate in your union with nature.

"Misty Cliffs is one of the most beautiful places in Cape Town. I am an avid body boarder and this is one of the best spots to surf. If you are looking for somewhere to stay when you go on a surfing trip, Stone and Thatch Cottage Retreat is the place to be!"
